Jan 18, 2012 - The Wright Tri Club is please to welcome Rick Heitkamp, from Kettering Sports Medicine, to speak at our January 18 monthly meeting to be held at Elsa's in Centerville starting at 6:30 PM. Kettering Sports Medicine offers great assistance to those wishing to improve their athletic performance. As you plan and train for the 2012 season, this is a presentation you don't want to miss.
Speaker Bio-
Rick Heitkamp is an Exercise Physiologist with Kettering Sports Medicine Center where he has worked for the last nine years in the Sports Acceleration program training athletes of all sports and competition levels. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Condition Association, and he has a Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology from Bowling Green State University. Additionally, Rick has a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science from the University of Dayton where he was a four year letterman in cross country. He was also the first All-Ohio and All-Atlantic 10 Conference runner in the history of the University of Dayton men's cross country program.

Training above or below your optimal training zone will not help you achieve your performance goals as effectively as targeted training. In order to maximize your training for endurance sports, you must have accurate, scientific knowledge of your physical condition as well as your nutritional and dietary needs.
