USA Triathlon Mideast Region Club Race Series (MERCRS)Previous years standings for our club.1999 2nd place 2000 2nd Place 2001 3rd Place out of 21 Teams, 137 Points 2002 2nd Place out of 17 Teams, 139 Points 2003 10th Place out of 26 Teams, 121 Points 2004 8th Place Overall and 3rd in Ohio with 276 points 2005 9th Place Overall and 2nd in Ohio with 277 points 2006 9th Place Overall and 2nd in Ohio with 279 points 2007 6th Place Overall with 274 points Remember, you can and will score points for our club at any of the listed races competing as a triathlete or duathlete, even if you finish dead last. The "highly recommended" events are those that are relatively close to home and to which we can most likely send a larger group (the finale is highly recommended because it counts for double points). The "recommended" events are a little farther away, but have been lightly contested in the past (so even one or two people can score big points for us). You're encouraged to check out who else from the club is doing a race that you're doing, and contact them beforehand via the club roster to possibly share a ride; share lodging; provide moral support before, during, and after the race; organize a pre- or post-race meal stop or picnic; etc.
